Ladies Day written by Katie Tracey and directed by Pauline Daniels which started life at the Liverpool Actors Studio has now transferred to the Theatre Royal St Helens. Ladies day is an hilarious play perfect for a girls night out maybe when the boys are at the semi final.

English Rice Productions are looking for a male actor to play DON in a musical adaptation of Much Ado About Nothing.

Dates – Rehearse 7th – 11th June 2012
Perform 12th – 16th June 2012

Requirements – Strong Actor and Singer (pref. tenor)
Playing age 25 +
Liverpool accent
Playful comedic character actor
Nightclub bouncer
Some basic movement

As one door closes…

We bid a fond farewell to “A Life in the Theatre” tonight after a hugely successful sell out run! Our congratulations go to Stephen, Drew, Marie, Sean, Laura, Lindsay and everyone else involved with the production. We’re sure it will be back again!

There’s no rest for the wicked though, and Monday sees the start of the Annual Write Now Festival! 10 new hour long plays have been chosen to perform this year, along with a host of other exciting workshops and events to tie in!The Write Now Festival just gets bigger and better every year and we can’t wait to see what this year has in store for us!

Doors will open to the public on Friday, but for now you can take a look at the Write Now Festival website or buy tickets online.
